The task? Fan art of the series Spiral. Uhm I've actually seen the anime of Spiral (I haven't read the books...) and actually really loved it so I figured I'd enter the contest. I really like all of the characters and their designs too soo...
Kanone is my favorite character.
(but he's in the waaaay back) <--- why the heck would you do that if he's your favorite character???

I kind of wanted them to be recognizable by way of how they act but I just ended up drawing them in outfits I just wanted them to wear... <-- irresponsible (again)

My favorite episode is the one where Rio sets up that puzzle (?) for Ayumu that involves the bracelets. That's why she's wearing a metal bracelet... yeah...

..my first time drawing them and really.. DO THEY ALL HAVE TO HAVE BANGS???? /pant pant pant/ I hate drawing bangs. I HATE IT. T-T but... fine w/e. I think I did fine? If the colors are off... I'm sorry! The reference I was using didn't even have Kanone in it so I had to go by memory and I couldn't see Kousuke's eyes so... forgive me!!!

Ayumu and Eyes look really miserable.. haha! They're probably just tired.. er... I mean dealing with Rio/Hiyono/Kanone all day would wear me out too -__- somehow I picture them running around doing EVERYTHING they possibly can.. yeah..

Kanon is my favorite character from Spiral too :D Even though it seems Fire doesn't like him too much after stuff thats he's done ^^;

I like the whole idea of it. Summer-anything is fun and festivals are even funner. =D The background seems a little dark though. With all those lights and such, it would probably look better with slightly brighter colors.
Their outfits also look pretty good. Just like the kind of things they would wear. ^^

I like the way you did their hair. All the colors look good to me. Kanon's hair color might be a little dark; but it also might be just right. (I got a picture, and it's hard to tell. So it's probably good :XD:) Kousuke's hair looks a little too small for his head (I like the way you drew it though).

Mehehehe. Ayumu and Eyes look like my mom and sis after we've been to the fair. :giggle: Me, however, I'm like "Let's do moar!!! :dummy:"
I loves fairs. :love: This makes me wish I could go to one. :XD:

Yeah I realized that about Kousuke's hair but.. it was too late haha! But I think it was a good first attempt at a character I never have drawn before XD.

I'm that way too about anything, festivals, fairs, just like, my friend's are like: I'm going home and it's like WHAT???? But there's still so much to do! and they're like: it's 11:30 at night -___-

Yeah he's kind of a jerk but.. he's too cool to not like >>;; I really like Rio too though (she's kind of crazy though.. haha!)

Argh! Eye's hair is SO EVIL. I didn't even know how to start coloring it I was like: uhm.... is it a base of white with purple highlights? Or is it purple with alot of white in it? Is that even purple or blue gray? XD haha! So I feel you P:

I like Rio and Kousuke...Kousuke a bit more that Rio though...even though Kousuke's hair is harder to draw that Rio's :giggle:

I KNOW! I'm looking at colored pictures thinking, "Why did I decide to subject myself to this torture?!" Not to mention it basically changes color in different light :noes:

I always end up liking the characters that I really shouldn't -__- why are the nasty mean ones so attractive??? It's CRUEL! Not fair.

I think 'why did I subject myself to this???' about halfway through every single piece I ever do. Haha!
